I do, however, think the ride attendants do a good job with not ripping off the parents with charging tickets on the smaller rides. Especially when my child has a wristband, but wants me to ride with them. But I do not think this offsets all the bad.
I have been to several carnivals with Skelly's amusements as the vendor. I never did a review but last night in Bear Delaware at a carnival, I was so disappointed and will never go again. We paid $10 for 2 adult admissions and $60 for 2 unlimited rides wristbands for the kids, plus a few extra tickets so we can take turns riding with them. All of the rides lines were extremely long to be a small carnival. I never had to wait 20-30 minutes for a less than 60 second ride at one of their carnivals, no exaggeration. So after a while I realized why the lines took so long, it was because a majority of the rides were not 100% working so it limited the number of riders each time. One ride had 3 out of 4 rides available. Another ride, that had 3 parts with each part holding 4 different seats, only had 2 parts open to riders. So it has 12 seats, but only 8 were 'working' for riders. Another ride where you lay down on stomach, had several seats not open to ride. I do not know how many because it was so big, you couldn't see all the way around it from 1 spot. But I did notice, on 1 section which seats 4, only 1 person was on that section. As well as several other rows were not filled. This being one of the longest lines at the carnival!
I've been to skellys carnival plenty of times and i had a great experience. The employees are all nice and very respectful.
Why is it i pay $45 dollars for an all week pass but the child that says need adult on the Ferris ride won't let the adult on without also paying it's ridiculous.
